Joe Ragland tallied 30 points and seven rebounds, and Wichita State shot 80 percent in the second half in a 91-74 men’s basketball victory over Davidson before a sellout crowd at Belk Arena Saturday afternoon.
The Shockers (24-4) were 20-for-25 from the floor in the second half and made 12 shots in a row over a decisive 8:22 of game time. Wichita State went on a 24-7 run during the stretch to open an 84-61 lead with 4:49 to play. Read the full story

In the mood for some big-time college basketball? Davidson’s men’s and women’s basketball teams have big games at Belk Arena on Saturday. The men’s team faces the 24th-ranked Wichita State Shockers (yeah) at noon in a game to be broadcast nationally as part of ESPN’s Bracketbusters series. Then at 2:30, the Wildcat women, currently No. 2 in the Southern Conference, face league leading Appalachian State.

Davidson College’s men’s basketball team will travel to Presbyterian on Saturday Feb. 19, for its final non-conference game of the season as part of the ESPN-U BracketBusters series.
