The Town of Cornelius Planning Board welcomed Betty Trautwein to the dais Monday night, March 14. Ms. Trautwein was sworn in at the start of the planning board’s meeting Monday and then joined the other members in the evening’s proceedings.

The Cornelius Town Board unanimously voted Monday night, March 7, to approve Ms. Traitwein’s appointment to the Planning Board. A Cornelius resident, she was named Queens University’s Charlotte Businesswoman of the Year in 1989.
