HUNTERSVILLE – Carolina Raptor Center will release an American bald eagle at Latta Plantation Nature Preserve on Monday, July 4.
Staff, volunteers and friends will gather at 11 a.m. at the nature preserve, at the end of Sample Road in Huntersville, for the release of a juvenile American bald eagle, rehabilitated in the Raptor Center’s hospital.
Festivities will begin at 10:30 am and will include games and a visit from our summer campers.
At 1 p.m., a special Eagle program is planned at Carolina Raptor Center, on Sample Road. They’ll offer $2 off admission.
