Tara Rogers Bright, 40, of Davidson, North Carolina; beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister and friend, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 4, 2012 after a brief illness. Tara graduated from The Patterson School in Lenoir, NC and was a member of Lake Norman Baptist Church in Huntersville, NC. She was passionate for her family first and foremost, her friends, her dogs and her amazing knitting talent.

Tara is survived by her husband, Scott Bright; daughters, Caitlyn Padgett (Gregory & Olivia) of Arizona, and Rachel Presson of Davidson; parents, Ralph and Sharon Rogers of Charleston, S.C.; brothers, Tres and Scott Rogers of Illinois, sisters, Susan Chappell (Rick) of Winston Salem, Chris Heuring (Matthew) of Florida and Marcia Rogers of South Carolina.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at Lake Norman Baptist Church, Huntersville. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 8 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.
