Davidson United Methodist Church will host a blood drive with the American Red Cross Monday, May 7, from 1:30-6:30 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall, 233 S. Main St.

The goal for this and other drives is 55 units of blood. The American Red Cross plans a year out to supply the hospitals with the units they need so it’s so important to hit the goal.
Donors must be at least 17, weigh at least 110 pounds, and show a photo ID.
