The annual Ice Cream Social and Summer Fun Day on July 19 is among the events at the North Mecklenburg Senior Center in July. Other activities include movie days, lectures, reading and crocheting clubs, Wii Bowling and Tai Chi lessons. The Senior Center meets in the Solid Rock Christian Church, at 16601 Old Statesville Road (NC 115), Huntersville.
