Easter brunch options; Baja Soul adds lunch; live music

BAJA SOUL TAQUERIA NOW OPEN FOR LUNCH

Baja Soul Taqueria, which opened in January, now is open for lunch as well as dinner. Their new hours are 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. through midnight on Friday and Saturday. This Saturday, April 7, the restaurant is throwing a Spring Fling with $3 Bohemia bottles and $5 mora negras. SIP AND SHOP AT THE WOODEN STONE APRIL 7

Raffaldini Vineyards returns to Wooden Stone Gallery this Saturday, April 7, for a Sip & Shop wine tasting. From 4 – 6 p.m., gallery-goers can enjoy six wine varietals and accompanying snacks. FOUR COURSE WINE DINNER AT CAMPANIA APRIL 11

Next Wednesday, April 11, Campania Cafe will present a four-course Italian dinner by Chef Vincent DiGiorgio, paired with four wines chosen by Mr. Marco Laico of Vino Vino distributors. The meal includes a glass of prosecco, scallops and a Pinot Bianco, torchietti pasta and a Rosso Piceno, grilled lamb chops with a Rosso, and a torta charlotte for dessert. $49/person. 416 S. Alton’s Kitchen and Cocktails in Cornelius has a special breakfast and brunch buffet available for Easter brunch on April 8th (and for Mother’s Day on May 13th, if you’re planning ahead). The menu includes everything from french toast to lamb, and smoked salmon to roasted prime rib. Restaurant X in Davidson will be offering brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Easter (as well as the last Sunday of every month).
