The outer lanes of Jetton Road will be closed from Jetton Park to John Connor Road Saturday morning during the Jetton Park Triathlon. The event will be held at the park from 8 to 11 a.m.

Officers will direct traffic at all of the major intersections along the Jetton Road route and volunteers will be stationed at other intersections to alert drivers of the lane closures.

Police ask that drivers use caution while driving in the area.

The Jetton Park Triathlon 2012 includes a 750-meter swim, 20K bike ride and 5K run. Proceeds benefit Hope House Foundation and Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte. Register at setupevents.com. More information on the Jetton Park Triathlon website.
