Bailey Middle School students and their families celebrated the end of the school year at the Lake Norman YMCA in Cornelius Wednesday evening. More than 400 people showed up for the “Beach Blast.”
Organized by Bailey family involvement chairwoman Shannon Domayer, guests enjoyed hotdogs, hamburgers, popcorn and sno cones, as well as activities such as canoeing, volleyball and inflatable water slides on the lake.
