Parents and children headed to the Cornelius Arts Center, 19725 Oak St., Saturday for the Community Arts Project Camp Crawl. Sponsored by the Cornelius Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture department, the center offers more than 30 different camp options this summer beginning June 13.
“The kids you get during camp are really excited,” instructor Kim Pound said. She teaches art at J.V. Washam Elementary School in Cornelius during the school year, and enjoys teaching clay works and other mixed media classes with the camp during the summer. Read the full story in the Guide.
